The grapes come from Vrbek vineyards on the Záhumenica route - we use original methods - without selected yeasts, enzymes and "preparations".
It was fermented and then macerated for 3 months in a vat, then aged for 11 months in an acacia barrel made by a local cooper from wood from the surrounding forests.
André is a variety from the Blue Mountains, it's basically undrinkable when young - it's astringent and raw, it needs a long time to rest both in the barrel and in the bottle.
